I've been having incredibly lucid dreams lately featuring the music from the Hunger.
Here is Lakme by Léo Delibes, the other song in my dreams.
I bought the vinyl to the soundtrack as well as the opera simply because
I fell in love with "Viens, Mallika, les liens en fleurs" (The Flower Duet) in Act 1".
Below is the French and it's translation.

"Viens, Mallika, les liens en fleurs" (The Flower Duet)

Sous le dôme épais, où le blanc jasmin
À la rose sassemble
Sur la rive en fleurs, riant au matin
Viens, descendons ensemble.

Doucement glissons de son flot charmant
Suivons le courant fuyant
Dans londe frémissante
Dune main nonchalante
Viens, gagnons le bord,
Où la source dort
Et loiseau, loiseau chante.

"Under the thick dome, where the white jasmine
Gathers with the rose,
On the riverbank in bloom, laughing in the morning,
Come, let us go down together.

"Gently let us slip from the pleasant rising flow,
Let us follow the fleeting current
In the shimmering stream,
Without any care,
Come, let us reach the bank,
Where the spring waters slumber
And the bird, the bird, she sings."

Here is Trio in E Flat by Franz Shubert.
This is one of my favorite of Shubert's.
I had to get it out of my head and share it.
